“One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.” (Luke 17:15)
I’m sorry, what kind of voice?
You see that’s the problem with today’s Christian modus operandi; we’ve lowered the volume ….
We don’t want make others uncomfortable with truth, testimony and praise. We don’t want to draw attention in fear the world discovers we are former spiritual lepers saved by grace ….
Yet, this healed leper did not whisper or accommodate, he shouted. You see, there is no such thing as silent Christianity, or timidity faith, or at least there shouldn’t be …..
“Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!” (Psalm 47:1)
Big miracles provoke loud praise!
Big miracles provoke ferocious voices, shouting articulation of what the Lord has done ….
And I am not just limiting this to the audible, but through our actions, words, deeds and thoughts, through how we treat each other …..
Permit me to reiterate: simply put –the size of your praise is directly proportional to the magnitude of the hell that God took you out of ….
Therefore, stop pressing the mute.
Raise the volume, not to annoy, but to prompt others to ask, “Who changed your mourning into dancing?”
