O holy God, Creator and sustainer of all life, including our own, help us to live more fully and freely in the confidence and knowledge that You uphold us in all that we feel and face ….
Your constant presence is our strength when we feel weak, our hope when we are challenged, and our joy when we crest the mountaintop ….
As we come to this day, I pray that we may look to You for sustenance and support that can strengthen and renew us whatever the challenges we may face ….
Great is Your faithfulness, O God. Your mercy and compassions are new every morning. Grant us all the courage of Your steadfast love. Help us to see others with the dignity that You do this day. Enable us to be kind and gentle toward all that we should encounter in our lives today, with the keen awareness that You love these wandering souls and desire them to know You as well ….
We pray for the afflicted, for those suffering the devastating effects from infirmities, those bound in addictions, for those weighted down under heavy loads, burdened hearts, and vexed in spirit. We pray for divine healing in all areas: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual ….
We pray for those unsaved, the wayward and prodigals, who have wandered seeking greener pastures, and have lost their way back. We call them all in Lord and pray protection over them that the wolves may not devour them until they be drawn back ….
Use us all this day to be Your hands and feet; that we may be mindful to serve and minister, that we may be Your voice, calling out in the wilderness — “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest for your souls” ….
And finally, we pray for Your love to permeate and saturate us wholly and completely that we may minister that love toward all. May we be an encourager and exemify all that You are in our own lives, and carry Your message of truth without compromise. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen
