5-Minute Morsels ~

Why do we doubt? Why do we question what has been proven over and over? Why do we let the influence of other people, change what we know and believe?

It is a struggle to stand strong in God’s Word. This world makes that so difficult …. and the devil is behind those manipulative influences. Take a stand every day, to put away those doubts, fears, and negative temptations. Place your trust in God, and read the promises written in the Bible. We can have full assurance that God’s Word is all true, and day after day we are shown the evidence of God’s power and love in our lives. If we grow closer to God ….

He is able to hold us even closer. When we receive the redeeming love of Jesus, we begin a new journey of hope. Place your belief in the one who has walked in your shoes, and knows your every need. “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus will carry you, help you, and love you eternally. God promises us that. Believe … without doubt … and you shall receive. But we must not waver or doubt. That makes us double-minded and unstable, and the Word says anyone who doubts cannot receive from the Lord (James 1:6-8).

Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.” “Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea’, and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you. So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses” (Mark 11:22-25).

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” (Romans 15:13)

God is with us ……
