“Always think of what you have to do as easy, and it will become so” …
— Smile Corie

How we think about the activities before us is very important. If we think cleaning the garage is hard, dirty, and no chance for fun, that’s just how it will feel. We’ll be tired before we even begin. However, if we approach it like a treasure hunt, expecting to rediscover some long-forgotten treasures, we’ll enjoy the task. In fact, it will feel like a game to us ….

The thoughts we carry in our minds determine whether our tasks are fun or not. What good fortune it is that we can control those thoughts. If we approach an assignment for school or a job believing that we’re able to do it, that it’s not too hard for us, we’ll finish with ease. Our thoughts determine our successes. In this way, our outcomes, are determined by our own attitudes ….

“Watch your thoughts, they become words; watch your words, they become actions; watch your actions, they become habits; watch your habits, they become character; watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
Consider five of the key words in this saying: words, actions, thoughts, character, and habits. The initial letters can be arranged to spell the repeated focal term: W.A.T.C.H …..

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galations 6:7-8)

Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he or she also shall reap. You sow an act, you reap a habit; acts repeated constitute habits; you sow a habit, you reap a character; you sow a character, you reap a destiny. Let us cultivate habits of kindness, gentleness, and love, that we might rely upon it, and with God’s blessing, we would succeed in life ….

Plant a thought and reap a word; plant a word and reap an action; plant an action and reap a habit;
plant a habit and reap a character; plant a character and reap a destiny ….

How much better can I make my life today if I change my thoughts, my words and my attitude?

God bless you ….

Saved, sanctified, and Spirit filled; I'm an on- fire, tongue-talkin' Holy Ghost dynamo! I am Your kindling my Lord ... lay me across Your alter; that Your fire may consume me and burn so brightly that all who see me may see YOU!!! .. May You be glorified in everything I say, do, or post ....
