Time To Make A Change ~

Don’t be afraid to let go …. All of us have something in our life that we know needs to change. Many times we hold onto things, situations, or even habits that we know are not healthy … And why? Simply because the thought of making a change creates discomfort in our minds. We become comfortable with the familiar, even when it may be pain and sorrow. However, there is a saying: ” familiarity breeds contempt ” ….. and this is true in most cases.

It is easy to become complacent in our lives, and allow things to continue on a day to day basis. We think that simply going on about our daily routine; in the same way as usual, will make that thing, situation, or habit go away in time. The reality is; nothing will change until we make an effort to step toward a new direction. I heard it once said: “if nothing changes ~ nothing changes!” There is wisdom in this statement.
There is hope though. You can be relieved … you can unload … you can find peace. It starts with accepting the fact that things need to change. Once you admit that thought to yourself … look to God … and ask Him to show you what to do next. Press past the uncomfortable feeling … that fear of the unknown … and begin thinking towards a better future. It is amazing how God begins to show you signs …. give you thoughts … and help you know that you can do anything … Yes, anything and everything through Christ who strengthens you ….

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
(PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7)

“I can do ALL THINGS through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (PHILIPPIANS 4:13)

God is with us …..

Saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost; a woman of God, whose life is devoted and surrendered to God. In essence, I am a Zealot for Jesus Christ. I am Your kindling my Lord ... lay me across Your alter; that Your fire may consume me and burn so brightly that all who see me may see YOU!!! And thereby You will be glorified .... May You be glorified in everything I say, do, or post ....
